Up for your consideration is a beautiful collectable table set by Enesco Japan sold at Ruggles China and Gift Shop at Disneyland (that store operated at that park from July 1955 - March 1964). All pieces are in excellent vintage condition and would look great in any kitchen favoring kitschy, vintage or mid-century decor. Salt and Pepper Shakers: Both shakers feature brown haired girls in soft pastel pink dresses with their heads bowed in prayer. One girl's dress has the words “We give you thanks for all your gifts” and the other one says “Give us this day our daily bread.” The one with the words “give us” has two holes in the back and is the pepper shaker. The other has three holes and is for salt. There is a small shallow chip by the place where the stopper should go (bottom of shaker). The paint is vibrant on both pieces and there are no cracks and no crazing. Both shakers had stoppers when I bought them however due to age the stoppers literally crumbled in my hands when I was washing them. You can easily purchase new cork stops at your local hobby shop or craft store that will fit the holes. I have replaced many aged cork stoppers in this manner. Shakers are 4.25" high and 2.75" at the widest point of the dress on the base of the shakers. Both Shakers have original Enesco, Japan stickers on the bottom. Napkin Holder: This beautiful piece features the girls' mother who also has brown hair and a soft pink dress. Her hands are folded at her chest and her head is bowed in prayer. Her dress reads: "Dinner Prayer, Be present at our table, Lord be here and everywhere adored. These morsels bless and grant that we may feast in paradise with Thee. Amen. There are no chips, cracks or crazing in this piece and the coloring is vibrant without noticeable defect or fading. The bottom of the holder is a bit soiled and the Enesco, Japan sticker has mostly been torn off. This cute and kitschy napkin holder measures approximately 6" high and 3.25" at the widest point at the base of the dress. These sweet girls would look absolutely lovely in any kitchen or dining room. They would also make a great gift for someone who just moved into a new apartment or house. A perfect set for the vintage kitsch lover!
