Items listed are a unique vintage gold and green linked leaf necklace and matching set of vintage leaf earrings. A set of jewelry pieces designed to be worn together is called a "parure" and this was very popular in the 1950's. Women wore matching earrings, brooches, rings, necklaces and sometimes bracelets. This set features a gold toned metal and a green textural surface with an adjustable hook clasp. The necklace is 16" at it's longest but it can be made smaller via the adjustable hook. The earrings are clip on (pierced ears were considered to be indecent or risque during this time period). There is a slight patina on some of the gold metal which is congruent with the age of the items. Overall, this jewelry is in excellent condition and minor imperfections are not noticeable when these beautiful pieces are worn. This nature inspired set would look great with an earth toned ensemble and it would also make a lovely gift. This distinctive leaf design is very unique and will make anyone stand out in a crowd!
